MS Project for TTM executives
The second training and improvement course for TTM personnel, jointly designed with the University of Chile, began on October 17.
Microsoft Project, or MSP, is a project management software created for assisting project managers to design drawings, assign resources to tasks, track progress and analyze workloads. The course aims at imparting the following skills, among others:
- Recognize the program’s work environment and its interfaces
- Become acquainted with the different phases of a project
- Draw up a work schedule
- Define tasks
- Assign tasks
- Link different tasks
- Differentiate the different types of resources that are part of a project
- Assign resources to each one of the tasks
- Analyze the costs of each one of the resources
- Optimize time
- Draw up reports
- Follow-up the project and analyze variations with respect to the initial schedule.
The training is designed to strengthen existing competencies and provide new ones. It will undoubtedly improve the daily work of the collaborators in the different areas that participate in drawing up and supervising TTN Chile projects, finally translating into better control of the variables that affect each project and an enhanced perception of our management ability by the client.
