Maintenance Engineering

The purpose of TTM Chile’s Maintenance Engineering Unit is to work towards operational improvement of our clients’ productive plants.  It focuses on providing the best technological solutions available for optimizing overland conveyor availability levels.

TTM Maintenance Engineering undertakes to provide the products, services and IT tools which, as a whole, make up the Reliability Solutions.  Outstanding among them are innovative solutions for early detection of tears in belts, belt alignment, detection of tooth loss in electric shovels etc.  Our Non-destructive Assay Services for conveyor belts enable scheduling predictive maintenance activities, most notably the Elctromagnetic Scanner for Steel Cable belts, X-rays, measurement of electronic thicknesses, thermographs etc.

 Our experienced site inspectors are trained for collecting relevant information that enables analyzing the status of every component of the pieces of equipment.  This information can be analyzed by our Reliability Engineers or else be used for feeding our specialized TTM Insight program.

TTM Insight is an exclusive company product that enables handling relevant information on the overland conveyors, predicting behavior and, in summary, focusing attention on critical parts that require action for increasing availability.  It is personalized software with user-friendly interfaces.
